About Me

Yoscaira Gomez received her BA in Criminal Justice and realized she wanted to help individuals get out of prison, but not the ordinary prison. Her mission is to liberate those who have created a prison in their own minds, which seems to have boxed their way of thinking and identifying who they are. After receiving a Masters in Urban Education she became a Life Coach and received her NYS Cosmetology license. These achievements helped to fuse her love of beauty and fashion with creating and organizing empowerment workshops, events, and products. As founder of Urban Lotus she hopes to enlighten the mind, body, and soul of individuals and enrich their lives with powerful and positive messages.
