Urban Lotus is a bilingual multi-service firm dedicated to inspiring and guiding youth and individuals to rise to their potential through social-emotional, mental wellness, beauty and education services. We develop curricula, workshops, events, and products focusing on self-discovery, social entrepreneurship, life skills and literacy. Urban Lotus uses multiple approaches and evidence-based methods to foster self-esteem and integrate practices that influence the mind, body, and soul.
The Lotus Flower grows in opaque pond water; surrounded by mud, dirt and filth. Even though it grows in a place where beauty seems to be nonexistent, the Lotus Flower finds its way to sunlight and reveals their beauty in its white, purple and pink petals. Similar to the Lotus Flower, our chaotic environments often cloud us and try to diminish the person we were meant to be .
